Smithsonian Week 2004 Public Art Display

7 1/2 Ft. T-REX Sculpture

The sculpture is made of many layers that include a steel skeleton, canvas, recycled materials and 42 pounds of hot glue.
The sculpture is lightweight and weighs less than 200 pounds. It is a highly mobile piece and comes about in 3 pieces.
Beautiful and textural, the piece was also a focus of a documentary by Kristen Autry. (www.liquidelbow.com)
on the process of creating him due to the unusual techniques and methods we used.

Sculpture is a collabrotive project with Rick Frausto. We designed, engineered and built it in 37 days.
