CHILDREN'S MURAL PROJECTS

These wall murals project were created for the Annual
Womens' festival of the Arts"

Seventy Five students in the 3rd and 4th grade at Minnie Gant Elementary
participated in this project.

Students were asked to pick a women in their lives that was important to them.
We then had a portrait drawing and painting class. Students were
then supplied with paints and mural squares to draw and paint their
individual portraits.

The completed murals were displayed at the 3-day Womens' Festival of the Arts at
2nd City Council gallery and performance space.
