Artists are frequently commissioned privately to create work for a client. Many fine artists have found that commission work isn't for them, because of the restrictions they feel it puts on their vision or freedom to create. Much of my business is through commissions and reference from past clients.

I have found that open communication through out out the
the commission process - prevents signals from gettting crossed. The artwork is then extremely satisfying to both the artist and the client.
When hiring me for a commission, the first step is to look at my artwork. What you like, what you don't like.
I do not copy other artists' styles. I work in my own style and vision when I work with my clients.
The art work produced is initiated by the clientÕs thoughts and insight, but created by me. I keep the client up to date with jpg images of art work in progress.

Most clients first thought is a portrait. I feel there is many ways to render a ÒportraitÓ.
Many styles and and also using a literal view or a abstract internal view of
a person or personality.
